Eddi La Marra is awake
As further checks showed that brain activity is stable again, Eddi La Marra's sedation has been stopped. This is the most recent official bulletin from Cesena's Bufalini Hospital, where the Barni Racing Team rider has been under strict observation since August 27th, after a heavy crash sustained at Misano during a Ducati private test session.
His conditions are encouraging, as last Friday La Marra started to show some signs of awakening and reaction to stimuli. His family, ecstatic over the good news, wrote on social networks: "Eddi is awake! He recognised us all... he's a bit weak now, but we're heading in the right direction!"
Both La Marra's family and Barni Racing Team would like to thank everyone - as mentioned on their official website - for the great support received during this hard time.
