Jules Cluzel aims to bridge gap to the front

Jules Cluzel (FIXI Crescent Suzuki) had his ups-and-downs in the first half of his maiden World Superbike campaign, his first ever on a 1000 cc machine. The young Frenchman is still trying to change his riding style in order to take the best out of the GSX-R1000 K13, but he's already managed to show his potential in several occasions, as he's finished eight races out of fourteen in the top-10.

"So far this season I have really enjoyed the challenge" said Jules Cluzel. "I know my riding needs to improve so that I can start to make the most from the bike, hopefully we can make some steps in Russia and then I've got some tracks coming up soon that I really enjoy, so we can then start to push on to the faster group."

Despite a difficult race at Imola, Cluzel's target for the rest of the season is to try and close the gap with the front runners, starting from the next round scheduled for July 21st at Moscow Raceway. "I really enjoyed the track in Moscow last season" said Jules Cluzel "and managed to get a Pole Position and a second place in the Supersport class. I know this year will be different as I am moving up to the Superbike and have no experience of the FIXI Crescent Suzuki GSX-R there, but I had a good feeling about the track last year and I think that I will really enjoy riding the Superbike there."
