Checa from Haslam as testing action begins for SBK boys

Carlos Checa (Althea Racing Ducati) went quickest of all in the first session of testing for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship at Moscow Raceway, with a lap time of 1 minute 37.189 seconds.
In sunny and dry conditions Leon Haslam (BMW Motorrad Motorsport) went second quickest, with a great result of third for Hiroshi Aoyama (Honda World Superbike Team). Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) was ranked fourth, while Jonathan Rea (Honda World Superbike Team) was fifth.
Davide Giugliano (Althea Racing) was sixth, despite a fall. Twenty-one riders competed in the first session, with one more test session available to all later this afternoon.
