Metcher takes the pole in Superstock 600

Australian Jed Metcher (MTM-RT Motorsports Yamaha) will start from pole position for the eighth round of the European Superstock 600 Championship, which gets under way at 6 pm this afternoon. The points leader will be flanked by Italians Nicola Morrentino (Elle2 Ciatti Yamaha) and Francesco Cocco (Martini Corse Yamaha), together with third place man in the table, the American Joshua Day (Revolution Racedays Kawasaki).
Dutchman Michael van der Mark (Ten Kate Junior Team Honda) will open up the second row of the grid, with three more home riders alongside: Riccardo Russo (Trasimeno Yamaha), Federico Dittadi (A.S. Riviera Yamaha) and title challenger Dino Lombardi (Martini Corse Yamaha).
