Toseland replaced by Lanzi at Misano and Aragon
James Toseland underwent further checks on Wednesday evening and it was confirmed that his wrist, which he injured during private testing at Aragon, is still not in a condition to enable him to take part in the Misano race.

The BMW Motorrad Italia SBK Team, in agreement with the rider, has decided to let him rest for the next two races to allow a full receovery.

At Misano Adriatico and Aragon therefore his place will be taken by Italian Lorenzo Lanzi.

29 year-old Lanzi raced in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup in 2003 with the Ducati team; the following year he took part in World Supersport and from 2005 in World Superbike, where with several different teams, he continued to race until 2010. He has scored three wins in WSBK, 2 in 2005 and a third in 2008.
