Australian Broc Parkes (Ten Kate Racing Products Honda) led the way in the early morning Supersport session at the official Infront Motor Sports one-day test at MotorLand Aragon. The Australian, who could only manage a top 4 position in yesterday's race, set a time of 2 minutes 02.452 seconds in his 20 lap run, over one second quicker than podium man Fabien Foret (Kawasaki Intermoto Step).
Frenchman Valentin Debise (SMS Racing Honda) appeared in the top echelons of the timesheets in third, a fraction ahead of the improving Aussie Jed Metcher (Rivamoto Junior Team Yamaha) and yesterday's top South African Sheridan Morais (Kawasaki Lorenzini) in fifth.
14 riders were out on the track this morning in the first of today's two one-and-a-half hour sessions, which was red-flagged a couple of minutes before the end when Luca Marconi (VFT Racing Yamaha) had an engine problem.
