Full entry list of new series revealed as Italian makes an electric switch

After three full seasons competing in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship, Italian Lorenzo Savadori has announced he will be taking a step to the electric side in 2019, joining the all new MotoE™ Cup.

As the first entry lists have been released ahead of the series debut in 2019, there will be 18 riders taking to the track, and Savadori is “excited” to take on a new challenge in his racing career.

Joining Maria Herrera (ANGEL NIETO TEAM), who competed in the 2017 WorldSSP300 championship and Niki Tuuli (AJO MOTORSPORT MOTOE), a WorldSSP race winner, the grid will be full of different varieties of talent.

Italian Savadori has been in the WorldSBK paddock since 2011 and he took the European Superstock 1000 crown in 2015 before battling out on track with Aprilia for three seasons. With some strong top six finishes to his name, he was never able to secure a podium finish but Savadori made some strong progress throughout his time in SBK®.
