Heading into the final European Round of the season, there was a lot on the line for Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) as he was looking at making history in France, leading the championship standings by 118 points with three rounds remaining.

Starting race one from second position on the grid, Rea was able to get a strong start and dominated the race early on – his crown was never in doubt. Crossing the line over three seconds ahead of his team-mate Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK), Rea had made history once again. But the celebrations were put on ice as he still had to compete in race two.

Starting from third on the grid, the 2018 champion was dominant once again with some stunning action to match his stunning gold KRT livery. Taking the lead half way through the race, the British rider left Europe with a stunning weekend behind him.

The FIM Supersport World Championship was offering a French fight between Jules Cluzel (NRT) and Lucas Mahias (GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team), as they both fought for home glory. Cluzel took the home honours as the title chase was still on the line. WorldSSP300 was one of the most anticipated rounds of the season as Ana Carrasco (DS Junior Team) was the first female to be crowned World Champion, finishing the race in 13^th position. And for the final ever STK1000 race, Markus Reiterberger (alpha Racing-Van Zon-BMW) took third position and the crown.
