James Toseland looked on course for a first career double at Assen in 2007, but Troy Bayliss had other ideas on the run to the line!
An all-time classic duel between two WorldSBK giants meant for a battle that is still regarded as one of the best in the illustrious history of WorldSBK. Having clinched Race 1, James Toseland ended up battling hard with Troy Bayliss right the way through Race 2, with the reigning champion looking to give the champion-elect a hard time. Into the final chicane, like always at Assen, there were fireworks. Who would come out on top?
