The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship returns to Brno after a six-year absence, with the Czech Circuit hosting the planet’s fastest Superbikes from June 6-8! The event promises to be a real feast of world-class motorcycle action, with two hard-fought World Superbike races and a full support race package.
Three-time champion Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) has started his title defence in strong style ahead of two other speedy Brits, Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) and Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team). Another well-known name for the Czech fans is motorcycling legend Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), who is in 4th position, with Spaniard Xavi Forès (Barni Racing Team) closing the top five.
Czech rider Ondrej Jezek (Guandalini Racing) will be aiming for a top ten finish in the elite World Superbike class, and will undoubtedly have the spirited local fans pushing him all the way there. The Brno Circuit Junior Racing Team will be represented by 18-years old female rider Alexandra Pelikanova, who will debut on world scene in the WorldSSP300 class.
Fans of two-wheel racing can expect 3 days full of adrenaline at the Brno Circuit.
