Battle boils down to the final lap in Italy
In the fifth round of 13, Monza was the setting of yet another sensational MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship race and it was America vs Italy around the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Di Monza.
In a battle between the Castrol Honda of Colin Edwards and Suzuki Alstare of Frankie Chili, fans were treated to 18 laps of pure adrenaline neither of the duo were prepared to give an inch and give up the win. As almost half the field didn’t finish the race, it was a battle of the survivors and the duo showed their strong levels of skill and determination.
