Spanish rider speaks to media as his debut draws closer

Alvaro Bautista’s MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship debut is getting closer, as the Spaniard will swing his leg over the all new V4 for the first time on 26th November in the pre-season test. But as he continues to finish his season in MotoGP™, his motivation is growing as he is set to join the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team.

Speaking with the media throughout a strong weekend in Australia, where the Spaniard was able to fight for the podium as he debuted with the Ducati Team around Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, he is now feeling motivated to work with a factory team.

Speaking to Motociclismo, he explained: “Going to World Superbike with the official Ducati team motivates me even more now. I know what they are capable of, and the potential they have and I am honestly happy. I know that I will have weapons there to be able to fight for good results.”

Four weeks remain before Bautista gets his first taste of WorldSBK, and anticipation is starting to build. Follow all the updates with the WorldSBK VideoPass.
