Circuito San Juan Villicum prepares to host WorldSBK

Excitement is building ahead of Argentina debut

As the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship prepares to head to Argentina for the 12th round of the season, the all new Circuito San Juan Villicum has hosted a visit from the FIM. Bikes took to the track to try out the new layout, track walks took place as well as an inspection of the all new medical centre.

Receiving a visit from FIM World Superbike Safety Officer Frank Vayssie, the circuit is looking ahead to the WorldSBK circuit heading to South America. Taking to the track and looking at all the parts of the surface, they are working at 100% to ensure the MOTUL Argentinean Round will be a top class sports event.

On top of the circuit, the all new grandstands are being built which are set to house thousands of fans, meaning they can view the 4.26km circuit from the best positions. With the all new state of the art medical centre also in place, the site is getting ready to host it’s first event since it’s construction.
