Honda Motor Europe finalise team ahead of season opener

As the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship paddock begin the journey to Australia for the opening round of the season, Honda Motor Europe have announced Chris Pike as their Operations Manager from 2018 onwards.

With a lot of previous experience in racing paddocks throughout the years, Pike will be manging the operational and technical support with the Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team and TripleM Racing Honda World Superbike Team. Present at the first ever WorldSBK race back in 1988, Pike was also part of Honda’s world championship winning seasons in 1997, 2000 and 2002. Pike is delighted to take on the new role: “I am very happy to be stepping up to the role of Honda Motor Europe’s Operations Manager in World Superbike; a championship that holds many good memories for me. Although it is a return to a championship I know very well, this a fresh, new challenge for me and I’m looking forward to applying all that I’ve learned over the years to help Honda be a force in this very competitive series.”
