Remaining with Xavi Fores for 2018, Barni Racing Team are prepared to put up a strong battle out on track as they unveiled their colours for the new season with the Ducati Panigale machines.

Spanish rider Fores is looking forward to a strong yea of racing, where he hopes consistency will help him in the early parts as he sets his sights high on fighting for a podium in every race. Missing out on a podium finish in 2017, Fores was a regular top five finisher and with more time with the team, as well as some strong testing time on the bike he hopes to relive the glory of his 2016 Lausitzring podium with the team.

"This is a small family for me,” begins Fores. “We have made important progress in the last season, we are the only private team that can compete - and sometimes even to stay ahead - with official teams. Starting from the certainties of last season, it is also important for my career, I'm sure we will grow again and we will be able to fight for the podium almost in every race.”

Marco Barnabó, team manager adds: "This season our team will make a big effort: continue the development of the Panigale R to confirm itself at high levels in the World Superbike. If all this is possible, it is thanks to our sponsors, our technical partners and to the hard-working team throughout the season.”
