Italian relief event gets backing from Dorna WSBK Organization

Taking place at the Borbonica Fortress in Civitella del Tronto in Teramo Province, ‘A Wonderful Beat’ has been organised in order to raise money for the area of Italy which was destroyed following the earthquake in October 2016. Among many other companies, Dorna WSBK Organization will be offering their support of the one off event as the main focus will be the construction of the nursery of Civitella del Tronto (TE).

Italy is a country very close to the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship’s heart, as the series visits the country twice in a season and is heavily involved with their national industry – with both Ducati and Aprilia hailing from Italy.

Working alongside "Mission Onlus", a non-profit association which works with women and children around the world to defend their rights, there will be 40 ambassadors of beauty and culture representing 150 countries present, making it a truly global event. Supporting all four regions affected by the earthquake, there will also be sports personalities at the event, as awareness continues to be raised for the fundraising.

Attracting a vast amount of interest from around the world, it is something WorldSBK are very proud to be involved with and look forward to seeing the progress in Civitella del Tronto (TE).
