Tricky moments in free practice
Nicky Hayden (Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team) loses the front end in FP3 on Saturday morning in a slow crash, of which he remains unharmed from as he continues to work on the set-up of the new Fireblade.

Peter Sebestyen (SSP Hungary by Pedercini Racing) also suffers a crash in FP3 which sees his Kawasaki ZX-6R take on a mind of its own and perform back flips along the track. All riders were ok, but the bike would need some work ahead of Superpole.

Ahead of his stunning podium in front of his home fans, Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) misses the all important apex through the Variante Bassa chicane on Friday, being forced to take a different route.

Double victory for Davies
Stamping his dominance around the Imola circuit, Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) produced the Gentlemen’s set at round five – taking the pole position, fastest lap and double race win. The British rider produced a stunning weekend of racing, and you can re-live it all right here

Laverty's bike on fire
