British rider permanent replacement for remainder of 2017

Heading into the final three rounds of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship, Sourz Foods - Benjan Racing Team have announced 19 year old Taz Taylor will be replacing Avalon Biddle for the remainder of the season.

British teenager Taylor has grown up in the world of British racing, and was runner up in the competitive British Moto3 Championship back in 2014 and 2015. With a strong background in racing involving big groups of riders, the ever close and tense WorldSSP300 will be the perfect welcoming onto the world stage of racing for Taylor.

Announcing the departure of New Zealand’s Avalon Biddle from the team, Rob Vennegoor, team manger explained: “After a challenging start to the World Supersport 300 season, both parties have agreed to end the 2017 season here, as she is returning home to New Zealand to prepare for the National Supersport 600 season. The team wish her a good season in the New Zealand championship and all the best in future career and private life.”

However they are thrilled to have collaborated with Taylor, and look forward to welcoming the youngster onboard their Kawasaki Ninja 300 for Portimao, Magny-Cours and Jerez, with Vennegoor stating “this is an opportunity Taz is taking on full of enthusiasm.”

Follow the British riders debut as the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship returns to Portugal in just over two weeks time, as the four classes will take on Portimao from 15th – 17th September.
