Don’t miss the German Round in August

When the checkered flag is waved on Sunday at Laguna Seca, the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is heading into the summer break. However in six weeks time, the championship will hit the final third of the season, at Lausitzring from 16th – 18th August.

With plenty of on track action ready to hit the track, the question on everyone’s lips will be if Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) can make another strong step towards their third World Championship title, or if his teammate Tom Sykes can reduce the gap to the top. On top of this there is welcoming the return of home hero Stefan Bradl (Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team), who is looking forward to racing in front of his local fans around Lausitzring.

Welcoming three World Championship classes as well as the European Superstock 1000 Championship, and the German Championship IDM fans will be treated to high-class motorsport and exciting racing. A variety of activities for the fans will be on offer all weekend, with meet & greets, autograph sessions, interviews with riders and competitions galore. Pit walks on Saturday and Sunday get the fans even closer to riders, and allow fans to get to the heart of the paddock. Test rides of the most recent models will be on offer from manufacturers, whilst children are able to gain their first motorsport experiences with the Suzuki mini quad course, which will be positioned behind the main grandstand.

The action doesn’t stop there, as the evenings will be filled with on stage entertainment with Rockvalley on Friday and Queen 2 Magic Tribute on Saturday – behind the grandstand. On top of this, there will be a DJ over the rest of the weekend.

All information and tickets for the German Round of the Superbike World Championship can be found here. The weekend ticket including paddock entrance is available for only 74 Euros which means an advantage of more than 15% from the box office price.
