Both team and rider enter the new season with a clear determination and drive to take the fight to the front runners this season, and they are hoping to be a force to be reckoned with aboard the Honda CBR600RR. Following some strong tests over the winter, the Italian instantly felt comfortable within the team which is surely a recipe for success for the season for ahead.

Competing in the former European Superstock 600 series from 2011 to 2013 Gamarino brings experience from the WorldSBK paddock as well as circuits they are set to visit, as 2017 marks his fourth season in the WorldSSP series.

The team now has to wait until they touch ground in Australia before they are able to make any more changes to their machine, with the official tests taking place the week of the opening round.

Gamarino is thrilled with his 2017 news: "I am very happy to be in Bardahl Evan Bros. Honda Racing Team. I am convinced that they will give me the best condition to do well and obtain excellent results. The tests we carried out in Spain have been very useful for me and I immediately found a good feeling with the team technicians, who are passionate and easy to work with. I like the bike very much, especially the chassis. There is every reason to do well and I look forward to getting on track at Phillip Island for the tests, and for the start of the season. I want to thank all the sponsors, my family and of course my new team for showing your confidence to me. "
