How each bike has performed to date at Donington Park

Aprilia have recorded eight podiums at Donington, but they are yet to win their first race here. They have finished second three times, and the last one was in 2013, Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli. Last year Aprilia's best results were recorded by Leon Haslam, who was fourth twice.

Despite least one top 4 spot on the grid from 2012 onwards, an Aprilia bike has however never started from pole at Donington.

BMW recorded their first WorldSBK win at Donington in 2012, Race 1, with a 1-2. They were in the position to repeat that in Race 2, but a last turn contact between Rea and Haslam knocked out both works BMWs. BMW also claimed a third podium spot in 2013 Race 1 with Melandri taking second after passing Rea and Guintoli. Last year, Ayrton Badovini was the best BMW rider in both Races with a fifth in Race 1 and a ninth in Race 2.

Ducati is the most successful manufacturer at Donington, with 17 wins to Kawasaki's 11. Their last one came in 2011, Race 2, with Carlos Checa. Since that win, Ducati have climbed on the podium twice: last year with Chaz Davies, third in both Races. In 2014, Giugliano recorded the most recent of the 15 Ducati poles here, also a record of the track.

Honda have won seven times at Donington, with no less than 6 different riders: Fred Merkel, Aaron Slight, Colin Edwards, James Toseland, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jonathan Rea. The only Honda rider to have won twice at Donington is Colin Edwards (1999 Race 2 and 2000 Race 1). After their last win with Rea here in Race 2, 2012, they are yet to record a podium finish at Donington. Last year the best Honda rider was Guintoli, with two eighth places.

Kawasaki is second only to Ducati for Donington wins: 11 to Ducati's 17. They boast a unique feat though: they are the only team who have recorded six straight wins at this historical track, all courtesy of Tom Sykes in the last six races. Kawasaki have finished 1-2 in the last four races: in 2014 with Sykes and Loris Baz and last year with Sykes-Rea.

Leon Camier recorded the best result for MV Agusta last year: ninth in Race 1.

Yamaha, in their last visit to Donington in 2011, were able to win in Race 1 and finish in second in Race 2 with Marco Melandri. They count on 7 wins here, three in their most recent two weekends here (2009 and 2011).
