Luke Jones from Hereford, UK will replace Bryan Staring at WorldSBK Donington Park

After a crash after an MX test that has seen Australian rider Bryan Staring sustain an injury ahead of the next race in the STK1000 Cup, local rider Luke Jones is set to replace the experienced rider for his home Round at Donington Park.

Jones is a three-times British Champion, currently competing in the British Supersport Championship has gained the necessary experience in the various classes of the British Superbike Championship. This experience ensures the Brit will prove a welcome teammate to go along with Julian Puffe and David McFadden in the current line up of the Agro On-Benjan-Kawasaki team.

"We are pleased with Luke Jones as a replacement for Bryan Staring at the next race," said Team Manager Rob Vennegoor. "The team has worked hard to find a suitable set-up for the upcoming races. We are confident and have collected usefull information during testing last week."

In recent weeks there have been several changes made to the new Kawasaki ZX10-R bikes and the team's permanent riders tested on the Nurburgring and at Zolder, with positive results a good basis for the next race on 27-29th May at Donington Park.
