Should Triple-M by Barni Racing’s Ondrej Jezek finish this year’s Superstock 1000 season inside the top three, he will be treated to a World Superbike wildcard ride in the Qatar season finale. That is according to Germany’s Speedweek.com website.

“If Ondrej finishes the year in a top three position, he will be rewarded with a ride in the last Superbike World Championship round at Doha,” Matthias Moser, who heads up the team, is quoted as saying to Speedweek. “He would get a second bike in the team. For Ondrej, this is a good motivation and a great attraction.”

In four races so far this year, the Czech Jezek has picked up two podium finishes – at Assen and Imola – and never finished a race lower than in sixth position. His team is headed up by the aforementioned Moser, while technical infrastructure comes from the Barni Racing team which fields reigning STK1000 Champion Leandro Mercado in the World Superbike class.
