No clear leader after 8 exciting races.

As in previous years, Pirelli, the Official Tyre Supplier of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship present an award after each of the WorldSBK races with an end of season prize for the rider amassing the most number of fastest laps during the season. Riders within World Supersport are also recognised.

Jonathan Rea took both fastest laps in Thailand, setting a new lap record at the Chang International circuit in the process before notching up his 3rd best lap of the season in race 1 at Assen. Davies on the other hand has recorded a fastest lap in race 2 at Phillip Island, Aragon and Assen while Haslam took Race 1 honours in Australia, Sykes in Aragon Race 1.

In World Supersport it’s Jules Cluzel (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) who holds the Pirelli Best Lap lead with 2 awards in the first four races. Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) and PJ Jacobsen (Kawasaki Intermoto Ponyexpres) on one apiece.
