No rest for WorldSBK as testing set to resume tomorrow

The leading protaganists continue to search for the ultimate setting ahead of season finale

With the Pirelli Spanish Round of the eni FIM Superbike over, WorldSBK will be back on track tomorrow for an official test ahead of the final two rounds of the season.

With all of the leading teams in attendance plus a number of additional riders, Luca Scassa (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati SBK Team) and STK1000 rider Raffaele de Rosa, once again joining the Althea Racing duo of Matteo Baiocco and Niccolo Canepa. A total of 16 riders will take to the 4.423km circuit.

KRT, fresh from the successes of earlier today will be back in action as they begin their 2016 preparation while for Pata Honda the focus for Michael van der Mark will be how to extract the maximum from the Pirelli qualifying tyres.

Voltcom Crescent Suzuki’s Paul Denning indicated that it is likely that their riders Alex Lowes and Randy de Puniet will not participate in the test.

The full day test will be split into two sessions starting at 09:00 until 13:00, recommencing at 14:00 local time for a further 3 hours, the day ending at 17:00 local time.
