Gazzetta dello Sport: ‘Bayliss could continue at Ducati’

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, three-time WorldSBK Champion Troy Bayliss could continue to cover for the injured Davide Giugliano at Ducati. Having already competed in two races which served as a surprise comeback at Phillip Island, Bayliss was not expected to continue racing. However, the article states that the Italian manufacturer is now faced with a toss-up of running either Bayliss or Michele Pirro, who has competed in several Grands Prix for Ducati’s factory team as a wildcard rider in recent years.
