WorldSBK in Australia with FOX and SBS

Sunday, 15 February 2015 21:16 GMT

The 2015 season to be broadcast by the Australian Network.

A new exciting season of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship will start next 20-22 February in Phillip Island and Australian fans can continue to enjoy comprehensive coverage of the season thanks to FOX SPORTS Australia and SBS Australia.

As has been the case since the 2009 season, FOX SPORTS will remain the only destination on Australian television with live coverage of every WSBK round in 2015, delivered in High Definition.

FOX SPORTS Australia will once again broadcast live all of Saturday’s Superpole sessions, Superbike and Supersport races on Sundays. For the season-opener at Phillip Island – the iconic circuit that has hosted more WSBK races than any other – FOX SPORTS will broadcast a special production including live pit lane commentary from former World Superbike race winner Chris Vermeulen.

Furthermore, SBS will again be showing the best of the action in HD on free-to-air television SBS ONE, and will offer special features and interviews of every race weekend in dedicated highlights programmes following every WSBK event. SBS’s coverage begins on home turf on Sunday 1 March from 1.30pm with Round 1 at Phillip Island, and will follow the Championship through Europe, the UK, the USA and Asia, until its thrilling conclusion in Qatar.
