Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) and team mate Tom Sykes were 5th and 6th respectively ahead of Jordi Torres (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) and Leandro Mercado (Barni Racing) who were 7th and 8th, the pair looking very fast in sector one of the newly resurfaced Misano World Circuit.
