"Bayliss would love to test the Panigale again" says Marinelli
Ducati's SBK Project Director does not deny the chance of seeing the Aussie on track at Mugello
On a partly difficult day for Ducati's WSBK official squad, the SBK Project Director for the Italian marque Ernesto Marinelli was interview by WorldSBK.com. The experienced engineer, who has been supervising Ducati's effort within the Superbike World Championship for many years now, had something interesting to say about a possible post-Imola test at Mugello with three time Champion Troy Bayliss.
"It's a possibility that we have" said Ernesto Marinelli "and when I saw him in Australia for the first round he told me he was a bit bored at home (laughs) and that he would have loved to spend a fun day on a Superbike."
"Troy is of course part of our family" he added "so anytime he wants to have a ride he will for sure find a bike in Ducati."
