The EAB Team Manager is happy of the progress made during the year.

EAB Racing Team Manager Manuel Cappelletti is proud of the work done so far by his team in this year’s new STK1000 challenge with Ducati. Despite a bad start, Italy’s Fabio Massei has built speed upon speed and has been able to step onto the podium two times in his home races at Imola and Misano. Cappelletti reckons a win is still within the team’s reach this year:

“We used to be Ten Kate’s junior team until last year” Cappelletti told WorldSBK.com “but at the end of 2013 for various reasons we decided to take different paths and we chose Ducati as our new manufacturer. We continued with Fabio Massei, who is riding with us for the third consecutive year and we selected Alex Schacht as second rider for the team. We started the season not the best way with Fabio crashing out of the first race, but since then we constantly improved our performance.”

“We bridged the gap with the front runners and scored two podium finishes at Imola and Misano” he added. “Our goal is to win a race before the end of the season and help Alex entering the top-10. We had great help from the Barni Racing Team but especially from Ducati and Ohlins, who helped us understanding the bike in a very short time.”
