Rider Story

In terms of races ridden across his career across all categories, Bridewell is one of the Championship’s most experienced riders, the British rider has a storied racing career dating back to 2002. Since then, he’s become one of the biggest names in British Superbikes and even was named Champion back in 2023. Looking for a new challenge, the British rider prepares to take on the paddock and bring all of his experience to bear.

Ducati (2026-)

Bridewell now joins the WorldSBK paddock for the first time as a permanent rider on the grid, and competes with the also-new Superbike Advocates team atop their Ducati Panigale V4 R.

Before WorldSBK

Bridewell has competed across a diverse host of competitions, such as the Spanish Superbike Championship, the Italian Superbike Championship, British Supersport, British Superbikes, Superstock 1000, the FIM Endurance World Championship, and more. Time in British Superbikes is where Bridewell earned his stripes, competing there from 2007 until last season in 2025, racking up over 454 race starts, 20 wins, 112 podiums and a Championship trophy in 2023. Across the years, Bridewell has made many wildcard and replacement appearances in the WorldSBK paddock, first for a pair of races at Portimao back in 2008, then again in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2019, and in 2024 and 2025 as a replacement rider for Honda HRC.
