The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heads to the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto, Andalucia for the final round of an historic season. Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing - Ducati) has taken countless records this year and he could take more during the Pirelli Spanish Round before his move to MotoGP. Get up to speed with the stats and facts you need ahead of this weekend’s season finale.
2003 – Ducati won every race in the 2003 campaign (24), with the Bologna-based manufacturer aiming to repeat that in 2026 with 36 victories.
49/52 – Bulega currently sits on 49 wins. If he takes a hat-trick at Jerez, he will be on 52, level with Troy Bayliss in fifth place in the all-time list.
46 – Bulega is on a run of 46 podiums in WorldSBK, the longest streak of all time. He could reach 49 with three more at Jerez, putting him one shy of double the previous record (25, set by both Colin Edwards and Toprak Razgatlioglu).
37 – Ducati’s streak of 37 victories, which started in Race 1 at Estoril last season, is an all-time record.
33/34 – With one more podium in 2026, Bulega will match Rea for rostrums in one campaign. Rea claimed 34 in his 2019 title-winning year.
32 – Ducati are the manufacturer with the most podiums at Jerez, with 32. Kawasaki are second with 18.
21 – In 30 races at Jerez, 21 riders have taken a podium.
17-12 – Ducati are the most successful manufacturer with 17 wins, more than the sum of their competitors, Aprilia and Kawasaki (4 each), Yamaha (3), BMW (1).
17 – The last 17 wins here (starting from 2019) came only from the first two grid spots.
12 – Bulega’s treble at Estoril means he now holds the record for most WorldSBK hat-tricks.
10/11 – Bulega has the chance to match Ben Spies’ 2009 pole tally of 11 if he gets pole at Jerez. The Italian and the American will be tied for most poles in a single season. Ducati have a chance to claim every pole this season, a feat they recorded in 1992 (with 13 poles).
10 – Jerez so far has had 10 different polesitters; only two riders were able to record two pole positions here: Tom Sykes (2015, 2016), Nicolò Bulega (2024, 2025).
10-12 – In 2024, Toprak Razgatlioglu became the first rider with 10 podiums here, taking the record of 9 from Jonathan Rea. Last year, he increased his record to 12.
9 – Only one win here didn’t come from the first six grid places: that was Jonathan Rea, winning from 9th in 2017, Race 2.
5-5 – The record number of wins here, 5, is split by Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Bulega: they both claimed them with the Panigale V4R.
5 – The best winning streak for a manufacturer at this track belongs to Ducati: 5 from 2023 Race 1 to 2024’s Superpole Race; it was broken by BMW, winning Race 2 with Razgatlioglu.
