Surra given green light for French Round after medical check

The Italian rookie was declared unfit at Donington Park but will be back in action at Magny-Cours

Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing) has been declared fit for the Acerbis French Round after he withdrew from the last round through injury. The #67 had a shoulder injury which forced him out of action after Saturday morning’s action, and faced a pre-round medical check before returning to competition in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. He has now been given the green light to race at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours.

Surra missed the UK Round due to a right shoulder functional impairment, when symptoms arose after Free Practice 3 at Donington Park. The rookie, who has been fighting inside the top ten in recent rounds, faced a pre-round medical check and has been given the all-clear to ride this weekend in France.
