The #95 was running up near the front when his crash ended his session early

A tough break for Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) as despite showing very impressive speed good for P5 in the opening day of his home Prosecco DOC UK Round at Donington Park, his round has ended prematurely as a Turn 12 crash in Free Practice 2 brought out the red flags. Getting on the brakes heading into Goddards, the #95’s bike began to wobble underneath him, jostling him side to side atop his Ducati Panigale V4R bike before turning over on its side and sending him down onto the tarmac. After an extended red flag stoppage, he was escorted to the medical centre where he was ruled unfit with a concussion, as well as suspected collarbone and ankle fractures. He will be taken to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham for further assessments.
