FULL SCHEDULE: the key times to know for the 2022 Aragon Round!
Racing gets underway at MotorLand Aragon and all the key times you need to know are right here!
Testing is over and now the racing begins in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at MotorLand Aragon for the Pirelli Aragon Round as the Spanish venue hosts the season-opening round for the second consecutive season. All three classes will take to the track at Aragon along with the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup for an action-packed weekend to kickstart the 2022 season. Friday’s action starts at 09:00 (Local Time, GMT+2) with the Yamaha R3 Cup’s only Free Practice session, before WorldSSP300 action begins at 09:45 for a 30-minute Free Practice 1 session. WorldSBK machines hit the track at 10:30 before WorldSSP ends the morning action at 11:25. The Yamaha R3 Cup kicks off the afternoon session with Superpole before the same order in the afternoon as WorldSSP300 starts the action followed by WorldSBK and WorldSSP. On Saturday, WorldSBK action starts the day with Free Practice 3 at 09:00 before the all-important Tissot Superpole sessions. At 09:45, WorldSSP300 will set their grid in Superpole before WorldSSP at 10:25 and WorldSBK at 11:10. Saturday also marks the start of racing with the Yamaha R3 Cup kicking things off at 11:45. WorldSSP300 Race 1 takes place at 12:40 before WorldSBK Race 1 at 14:00 and WorldSSP Race 1 at 15:15. The day’s action concludes with the final Yamaha R3 Cup race at 16:15. Three Warm-Up sessions start Sunday’s action from 09:00 before racing starts at 11:00 with the Tissot Superpole Race. WorldSSP Race 2 starts at 12:30 before WorldSBK Race 2 at 14:00 and WorldSSP300 at 15:15 to end the Aragon Round.
