Takahashi replaces recovering Camier at Misano

The Japanese rider will once again feature as a replacement for Leon Camier, who continues to recover from his injuries.

It will be an all-Japanese line-up at the Moriwaki Althea Honda Team at Misano, with Yuki Takahashi joining Ryuichi Kiyonari for the upcoming Pata Riviera di Rimini Round of WorldSBK, taking place at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” this weekend. He will once again replace the recovering Leon Camier, who sustained injuries in Tissot Superpole at Imola.

Leon's path to recovery is what is expected for this type of injury and the rider is keen to be back in action as soon as possible. He simply requires a little more time to regain sufficient strength and movement in his left shoulder, injured in a blameless collision with another rider during the Tissot Superpole session at the Pirelli Italian Round at Imola one month ago.

In agreement with the team, he will therefore sit out this seventh round of the season with the aim of being back in shape for the Prosecco DOC UK Round, set to take place over the weekend of 5-7 July at Donington Park.
