Aprilia ready to roll again at Kyalami
"We leave for Kyalami satisfied with the Monza weekend but ready to begin to look for good results again," confirmed Max Biaggi. "It was right to celebrate Monza as a great victory but it would be stupid to create false illusions. This year we're going to have to fight at every race, for each and every point. We are up at the top and we are not hiding our cards, but all the top 5 or 6 riders are very close and the first Italian round of the season was a demonstration of this. Kyalami is not a circuit that is congenial for us, its characteristics and the rough surface might not work in our favour. The right set-up for the race will be fundamental ".
The Kyalami race will also see the presence of the 25 year-old current South African Superbike champion Sheridan Morais on a Team Emtek Aprilia RSV4, with the support of the KMSA importers and the Aprilia Racing Test Team. Morais won the last round of the domestic Superbike championship and currently lies second in the standings.
