BMW Motorrad Italia enters Superstock 1000 with new BMW S 1000 RR

BMW logoBMW Motorrad Italia has announced that it will be entering the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup in 2010 with its new BMW S 1000 RR model. For its Superstock attack, BMW Motorrad Italia team will make use of the experience of Serafino Foti, the team manager of the winning FIM Superstock 1000 Cup Ducati team for the past three years.


Andrea Buzzoni, BMW Motorrad Italia Director and Superstock Project Manager, declared: "The BMW S 1000 RR is a splendid, high-performance sports bike and it represents the crowning of the strategy of dynamic expansion that BMW Motorrad has carried out in the last few year. I'm really pleased that Serafino Foti will be the new team manager, Serafino will make available all of his experience in the new project."
