Red Devils Roma boosted with confidence as 2013 season approaches

The Red Devils Roma Team has completed the first of two days of private testing at Phillip Island. The Australian venue will host the eni FIM Superbike World Championship Season Opener on February 22-24, following a further two-day official test scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. After the positive results of last November's Jerez test, Andrea Petricca's team didn't hit the track until today, but the technicians of the Rome based team wasted no time and worked hard to prepare the Aprilia RSV4 on which Michel Fabrizio will tackle the 2013 World Superbike season.

"We have worked very hard" said Andrea Petricca "to be ready for what is such an important year for all of us. We made the agreement with Michel and laid the foundations for 2013 even before the 2012 season was over. Last November's test at Jerez proved our work to be good and the lap times set increased our determination and will to get good results. After our rookie year in Superbike, in which we showed our ability to perform, we are ready to step up to a new level. We strengthened both team and structure and we're confident of giving Michel Fabrizio the right conditions to aim for top positions. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors for allowing us to continue our effort in the series."
