WorldSBK.com takes a holiday break!

With most of the teams and riders taking a well-earned summer break to recharge their batteries, WorldSBK.com also follows the trend and as a result will be shutting down for the next couple of weeks.
When racing resumes in September four more rounds in Germany, Italy, France and Portugal remain to wrap up the four Riders' and three Manufacturers' titles at stake.
In World Superbike, the battle will be between Carlos Checa (Althea Racing Ducati) and Max Biaggi (Aprilia Alitalia), with Marco Melandri (Yamaha World Superbike) an outside bet, while in Supersport Chaz Davies (Yamaha ParkinGO) is beginning to pull away from his rivals David Salom (Kawasaki Motocard.com) and Fabien Foret (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda).
It's an all-Italian battle in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup, with the three contenders being Davide Giugliano (Althea Racing Ducati), Lorenzo Zanetti (BMW Motorrad Italia) and Danilo Petrucci (Barni Racing Ducati), while European Superstock 600 honours are still being played out between Romain Lanusse (MRS Yamaha), Jed Metcher (MTM-RT Motorsports Yamaha), Joshua Day (Racedays Kawasaki) and Dino Lombardi (Martini Corse Yamaha).
So it just remains for us to wish everyone a happy holiday break and hope you will join us again for the final four rounds of these exciting championships!
