Italians to the fore in Superstock 600 Combined Qualifying

Four Italian riders headed qualifying in the Superstock 600 European Championship class at Misano, led from the front by Franco Morbidelli (Bike Service R.T. Yamaha).
The Kawasaki of Christian Gamarino (Team GO ELEVEN) held off the challenge for second of both Yamaha Team Italia FMI riders, Riccardo Russo, in third, and Luca Vitali, eventually fourth.
Another pair of team-mates went fifth and sixth on the grid for this afternoon's race, the EAB Ten Kate Junior Honda duo of Michael van der Mark and Bastien Chesaux. Gamarino's team-mate Tony Covena was seventh.
