Gyorfi pleased with new BMW machinery
After a frustrating first part of the season, Hungarian Alen Gyorfi is starting to look ‘at home' aboard his new H-Moto BMW. After several seasons of racing a Honda, Gyorfi finished in a respectable 12th position at Monza and was looking on course to add to his tally in Portimao until a first lap incident saw him sidelined early on.

Despite the non-score in Portugal, the H-Moto BMW team are pleased with the ongoing progress that they are making with the new bike (considering the lack of pre-season testing) and look forward to a strong result at Imola at the end of June.

"Monza was a good weekend" said Alen Gyorfi. "We had a positive test with the new BMW after Assen and we were able to make some big steps with the suspension. Monza has always been a good track for me so we expected a good result. Portugal was looking good but the race was over before it began. We had the pace to once again be in the points but I was taken out on the first lap. It is a difficult season because we have no settings for the BMW but the H-Moto team is working very well together and our sponsors are supporting us with extra testing and things so I am looking forward to better results as the year continues."
