Cluzel climbs highest in first session

Jules Cluzel (PTR Honda) set a best lap of 1 minute 40.370 seconds at the 3.931km Moscow Raceway in the opening Supersport World Championship test session as he held off the attentions of his fellow PTR rider Sam Lowes (Bogdanka PTR Honda).
Ten Kate Racing Products rider Broc Parkes proved third fastest in dry conditions on his CBR600RR and a clean sweep of Hondas in the top four places came after Mathew Scholtz (Bogdanka PTR Honda) started well at this all new facility on the outskirts of Moscow.
The first Kawasaki rider home in the morning session was Fabien Foret (Kawasaki Intermoto Step) in fifth place, with the Power Team by Suriano Triumph of Alex Baldolini, sixth. A full 33 riders took part in the first session on track, with track temperatures maxing out at 25°C.
