Taking on the new challenge of a new circuit for the first time in 2018, the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship travelled to Argentina for the first visit to Circuito San Juan Villicum, and the fans weren’t disappointed.

Race One offered the chance for Kawasaki to receive more glory, as a podium from Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) and Toprak Razgatlioglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) meant they secured the manufactures world title. Rea dominated in usual style, but was given a strong battle from Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati). Race two shook up the order with the reverse grid and Xavi Fores (BARNI Racing Team) was able to get into the lead, but it wasn’t long before Rea hunted him down and overtook to take his ninth win in a row.

With the WorldSSP title still undecided, Jules Cluzel (NRT) was able to keep his hopes alive with another win after a smart race for the Yamaha rider. Remind yourself of all the action with the WorldSBK VideoPass.
