The journey to 2019 continues in Spain

Engines are preparing to be started for day two of the first test of the 2019 pre-season around MotorLand Aragon, but the 5.07km track has been hampered by rain on Thursday morning.

As the debut of the much anticipated Ducati Panigale V4 R is taking place, Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) was able to put in a strong first day with positive feelings from the new bike. But not wanting to risk further injury to his shoulder, he will be taking the second day slowly, not wanting to take too many risks ahead of the 2019 battle.

But for Michael Ruben Rinaldi (BARNI Racing Team), he was able to put in the very first wet laps on board the V4 R this morning.

Kawasaki Racing Team and Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team plan to work on some wet set-up in the final day at MotorLand, as they sat out of the opening hours for the track activity.
