Imola promises an unforgettable weekend for all the Italian Fans who will be visiting the paddock
Stage of some of the most exciting WorldSBK battles in the world championship history, Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola is one of the favourite destinations for lots of motorcycle racing enthusiasts. And it is not just the outstanding on-track action that attracts thousands of fans every year, but also the unmissable off-track activities that the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship has always ready for them to enjoy trackside.
The Pirelli Italian Round will not make an exception this year, as the world-famous stage of the Paddock Show will return at the Northern Italian circuit. Bigger and better than ever before with all five WorldSBK manufacturers show bikes on display right on the stage, it will have new fantastic shows and lots of added interactions ready for the Italian fans.
With live commentary of every session from Friday morning till Sunday, sofa chats with the top riders and technical talks with key people, it will provide a true insight of WorldSBK. Don’t miss the brand-new “A question of WorldSBK” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Test your knowledge about WorldSBK to win exclusive prizes such as a copy of the Official WorldSBK 2018 Yearbook and even the chance to win the access to the WorldSSP starting grid on Sunday and be able to walk next to the riders while they are preparing to hit the track for their race.
When the chequered flag comes down, bikes will roll directly into the parc fermé next to the Paddock Show stage. Be part of the podium celebration, get sprayed with the Prosecco DOC and listen to the top three riders’ reactions, as they will be welcomed on stage to speak with the fans just a few minutes after receiving their trophies.
Once the action on track is over, the party continues in the paddock. Saturday will be the day not to miss, as the popular Supershow will bring all WorldSBK and WorldSSP riders and the top WorldSSP300 riders on stage to meet the fans for autographs and selfies. Moreover, in Imola, within the Supershow, Italian rising star Fabiana Mattuzzi, singer and songwriter, will perform live on stage all her best hits.
Visit the Fan Zone to get a closer look at the 2019 Official WorldSBK Safety Car as Hyundai will have their cars there on display available also for a road test drive. Discover all Shad and Acqua Lauretana products and enjoy the entertainment offered by Motul while sipping a glass of Prosecco DOC that will be distributed in the area. Get the chance to buy a little souvenir from your WorldSBK experience at the Official Merchandise Shops.
With free access for all children under 13 accompanied by an adult, the WorldSBK paddock will be the perfect weekend entertainment for all families.
The paddock will be open on Friday for free to all ticket holders. Moreover, if you don’t have a “Superbiglietto”, which grant access to the paddock all weekend, supplementary paddock access tickets will be available on sale at every ticket box office around the circuit.
