Italian remains in WorldSSP next season

Continuing to battle for the FIM Supersport World Championship in 2019, BARDAHL Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha have announced Federico Caricasulo will be lining up with the team next season, as the Italian brings with him another season of experience in the ever competitive series.

At only 22 years of age, Caricasulo has three wins in WorldSSP after three full seasons competing in the class.  Following a tough start to the 2018, the Italian was able to secure six podiums throughout the season but also took his first and only win of the season at his home round of Misano, at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. Showing promise and potential towards the end of the season, the young Italian will be keen to get a strong start to the season with his new, Italian based team.

Joining Randy Krummenacher as team-mate for 2019, it will be a team full of experience in the class this season, with Krummenacher going into his second season with the Italian squad.

Federico Caricasulo: “It’s great to return to where I began. Both I and the Bardahl Evan Bros team have grown in recent years and it will be great to see what we can do now that we’re back together. To have a rider like Krummenacher as a team-mate will be great stimulation. He’s one of the strongest Supersport riders right now and together we’ll probably be the best pairing in the category. Sharing the garage with him will also be important in terms of my own growth. My thanks go to Yamaha Europe, to Bardahl and to all the sponsors that will support us in this project”.
