The ‘Kentucky Kid’ remembered at the Circuit of the Americas

After the sad passing of WorldSBK race-winner and MotoGP™ Legend Nicky Hayden in 2017, the tributes to the ‘Kentucky Kid’ have been many. Now, Turn 18 at the Circuit of the Americas has been named Hayden Hill.

Hayden made his WorldSBK debut in 2002, racing in both races at Laguna Seca. He returned full-time to the championship in 2016 for the Honda World Superbike Team, winning in Race 2 at Sepang and recording four podium finishes in 36 races. Hayden raced at the Circuit of the Americas in MotoGP™ in 2013, 2014 and 2015 before his move to WorldSBK.

Ride on, Kentucky Kid – at the Circuit of the Americas, his legend will.
