Racing on Saturday in Qatar to go ahead with limited TV coverage
Adverse weather conditions cause technical issues in final round of the season
Following a severe rain and sand storm on Saturday morning in Qatar, technical aspects of the Losail International Circuit have been affected and racing will go ahead with limited television coverage. The storm hit Doha on Saturday morning, and the strong winds affected the facilities required for TV production.
This means the battles for the FIM Supersport World Championship will go ahead, as Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing) and Jules Cluzel (NRT) battle it out for the title and Jonathan Rea (Kawsaki Racing Team WorldSBK) will look at breaking more records in WorldSBK, but with less live coverage than usual.
