Italian motorcycle show full of WorldSBK action in 2019
The 2018 season might be over, but 2019 is just around the corner and fans visiting EICMA this week will be treated to the full MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship experience.
Welcoming over 60 riders from all four 2018 classes onto the stage this weekend, fans won’t want to miss any of the action on the Paddock Show stage at Stand S48. A unique quality of the WorldSBK paddock, the Paddock Show stage brings fans closer to the riders than ever before. But on top of this, there will be even more for fans to enjoy.
Offering interactive games, competitions and a chance to hear riders talking about 2019 for the very first time, it welcomes an experience never been seen at EICMA before. Bringing the MOTUL Race Chat from the track to the exhibition hall, it will be an opportunity to hear exclusive news and gossip as well as interact with your heroes.
Getting fans involved with the action on stage this year, there will be fully interactive quiz shows where 20 members of the public can test their SBK® knowledge. Finish in the top six? That means you can win and take home special WorldSBK prizes. But it’s not only the quizzes that will attract people, there will be an opportunity to get your hands on tickets for two rounds of the 2019 season.
But the main attraction for the week is undoubtedly the riders: all four champions from the WorldSBK series will be present on stage throughout the week as they continue to bask in the glory of their victories. You could be in with the chance of meeting Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK), Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing), Ana Carrasco (DS Junior Team) and Markus Reiterberger (alpha Racing-Van Zon-BMW), on top of new riders for 2019.
